The Sulz location
The Sulz galvanising plant, which was taken over by the Group in 1986, was replaced in the year 2009 by a completely new, especially environmentally-friendly and modern plant.
A constant for the steel-processing industry in the south-west
In the year 1986, Lichtgitter GmbH took over the Sulz galvanising plant together with a connected plant for the production of perforated metal planks. Over the following years, we dismantled the existing plant and replaced it in 2009 with a completely new galvanising plant in accordance with the latest technological developments. Due to the advanced fluxing agent treatment which is gentle on resources, the Federal Environmental Agency has provided a substantial amount of funding for the plant. Today, the Sulz galvanising plant is, due to its high quality standards, a constant for the steel-processing branch in the south-west of Germany.
