Since December 2013, the Heek galvanising plant has been the newest and also the most modern of the Lichtgitter Group’s German galvanising plants.

We have invested in what is currently the best possible technology for the Heek galvanising plant, and have thus achieved a milestone in the field of part galvanisation technology. At this location, we work with the most advanced control technology and an optimised plant layout. This makes it possible for us to realise galvanisation capacities of up to 99,000 tons per year with particularly high-quality surfaces. Another advantage for you as customer is the favourable location of the galvanising plant in terms of traffic connections on the A31 bei Ahaus.
Our solutions at the Heek site
Hot-dip galvanizing
Hot-dip galvanizing creates a durable, robust layer that protects components from corrosion by immersing them in liquid zinc.
Powder coating
Powder coatings have a high scratch resistance and long durability and are even more environmentally friendly than other coating processes.
Centrifugal galvanizing
Centrifugal galvanizing is the solution for galvanizing and small parts. Centrifugal force is used to remove excess zinc from small components such as screws or bolts.
Duplex systems
Duplex systems combine galvanizing with additional coating and ensure a longer protection period. They also deliver aesthetically pleasing results.
Locksmith’s shop
In our locksmith’s workshop, we manufacture spare parts and consumables for the galvanizing plants of the Lichtgitter Group, certified in accordance with DIN EN 1090 EXC 3.
